DataViz Meetup
How to you grant access to data science topics for people who don’t know how to code and don’t have a scientifc background? In a serious of meet-ups I curated a program of scientific speakers showcasing hands-on examples on how data is used in practices.

Mission HABx
“That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” As part of on a TEDxAdventure we launched a weather balloon to the lower orbit. A great showcase for citizen science and how easy it is to get to space. With speakers from the European Space Agency and German Weather Service we gave the audience some scientific background before launching the balloon to 35.000 meters and picking it up in the Black Forest.

TEDxRheinMain
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
TEDxRheinMain brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz, Wiesbaden and Offenbach. Since 2015 I am the senior curator at TEDXRheinMain seeking to discover ideas and spark conversations in my own community.
